“SACHE, by Architect Manuel Correia Fernandes in 1993

This is a social house building constructed in 1993 in the heart of Porto in Portugal. Through the analysis of the different temporal lines of the project, it is possible to perceive the unitary character that the architect established with the building produced. In this work, I tried to accomplish the best I could to show the presence of the time in the building and how this has changed with the years past. I´ve used pictures from the architect himself archive on the construction moments and merged them with my pictures from nowadays. When travelling through the various spaces in the neighbourhood, the red bricks on the walls, the earth tones stand out, contrasting with the green and physical elements of the vegetation, which have emerged in all architectural evolution.” Tomás Beauchamp
