Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

 Artwork by Lorenzo Gaspari

The first is a simple collage of a masterpiece by Edward Hopper, "The Nighthawks", and a flame. The second is a small painting, tempera, pencil and chalk on cardboard, 21 x 29.7 cm (I decided to keep A4 format for a matter of scanning), representing a scene of the book. I decided to keep the logic of few, very clear images because I deeply believe in their effectiveness. The last two images are two papers in which I summarized the work on the painting.

The Nighthawks 451

Be of good comfort Master Ridley, and play the man. We shall this day light such a candle by God's grace in England, as [I trust] shall never be put on.
